PESC-24 VINYL SHEET PILES
PESC-24 vinyl sheet pile is basically a gray-colored, box profile that offers unmatched versatility and innovative characteristics such as durability and excellent resistance to corrosion, impact, and ultraviolet rays. It is also especially engineered to address the increasing demands of clients for a high degree water-tightness by employing a specialized tightening solution based on the use of gaskets. The profile is equipped with soft PVC gaskets which are co-extruded into the interlocks during the manufacturing process. Shape and size of PVC gaskets depends on the type of vinyl sheet piles.
Drawing on Pietrucha Group’s years of experience (since 2007) in the production, design, and installation of sheet piles, the Pietrucha ESC Inc. profiles have gained optimized parameters that ensures longevity, water-tightness, extensive application, and ease of installation. PESC-24 is equipped with interlock and seal designed to reduce the distance that can be penetrated by liquids or prolongs the distance that liquids must travel before leak occurs in case of high hydrostatic pressures. Overall water-tightness of a vinyl sheet pile wall depends on the design and frequency of interlocks. With PESC-24 wide profiles, the number of joints present in a length of wall is reduced by half of the number in conventional sheet pile profiles, thus, water-tightness is doubled.
The profile comes in three different wall thicknesses, all having identical width and height dimensions and are compliant to the requirements of ASTM D8427-21. This specification sets the requirements for material and physical properties, including dimensional tolerances, of rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) exterior profiles used for heavy construction, geotechnical, commercial, and residential sheet piling. Compliance of all PESC-24 variations ensures easy installation using standard tools and equipment and are ideal for a very wide range of project applications in consideration to financial aspects.
